# 36: Operation Christmas

Twenty-five students in Ms Cherian's 603 class have worked hard in the past days to create and collect gifts for children in poorer countries.
Twelve beautiful gift boxes are almost ready for delivery to Operation Christmas Child.

# 35 New Nets

Have you ever wanted new soccer nets? Is it because when you are playing soccer the pylon "nets" are too small? Is it because when you score a goal it goes too far since there is nothing to stop the ball?
But what if there were soccer nets with mesh? It would make your life much easier and won't waste your precious recess time. T
Soccer nets with mesh! That is going to happen soon!

# 34 Score!

The feeling you get when you score a goal for the team. One day volleyball, second day basketball, third day soccer, fourth day badminotn, fifth day hockey! There are so many sports teams at Lougheed.

Finally basketball tryouts! After a long hard wait it is here.

The anticipation of walking to that list on the coach's door, heart thudding.

Hoping that you made the team...

Do you have a music room in your school? There are two music rooms at Lougheed, one is vocal and the other is  instrumental. You can play like a rock star in a concert, drums clashing, guitars singing and pianos dancing. All of this playing together to make beautiful songs. You play out your frustrations and get to express your feelings. Your originality is here where you play like the wind.

#32 Getting Grades!

Have you ever had a time when you worked hard on a project and you got the mark you deserved? When my teachers give me projects to work on, it's fun because I love projects. It's also fun because the purpose of the project was to learn something. Then you write it on a clean pieces of paper with different coloured pens and it looks cool. Finally you give it to the teacher and the teacher responds, "Thank you" and it means so much to me.
