#24 When it Rains, it Shines!

Indoor recess is the best. I get to spend time with all of my friends. We play Monopoly, Guess Who? And if we are lucky we watch a movie. Who can ask for better classmates than 603.

#23 New Library Crew

Twenty-eight students in grade 6, 7, and 8 were trained as Library crew on Thursday October 13, 2011. 

This enthusiastic group is looking forward to a great year keeping your library in order.

When the recess bell rings I charge out the door like a rhino wanting to find my friend. What do you know? My friend is standing outside waiting for me.

#21 Getting Published

Getting published on the internet is a big deal. A grade 6 student brought me her post FIVE times. She edited and edited and edited and rewrote until post #22 was complete. 

Congratulations to Simrat T in 603 for being so persistent.

Imagine the present you wanted for years and you finally get it without asking. It was my birthday and I had wanted a book for ever. My friend put the book in my locker with the help of my locker partner and I didn't even ask for it.

#13 Open House

On Wednesday October 12 Lougheed held an Open House and  Curriculum Night. Parents were invited to visit their child's classroom and attend a presentation for the grade level. It is wonderful to have an Open House and show your parents your class

In Music class you hear the keyboards and guitars play 

great music. You can hear your favourite song.  You can 

learn new notes and about new musicians. You can learn
